Sourced from growers from the “Parish of Pokolbin” we have naturally decided to call this Hunter Shiraz the Parish.
After 4 years of drought this is the year where we had plenty of even rainfall with lush growth in the vineyard. As a result of this bountiful year and combined with the quality of the 6-year-old vines, we are blessed with a rich and savoury Shiraz typical of the Hunter. Vibrant aromas and flavours of dark berry fruits, violets and white pepper are complimented by hints of spicy toasted French oak. It is a well structured and finely balanced Shiraz and will cellar beautifully for the next 10 years.
