It’s just 12 bottles per year – that’s just 1 bottle a month. Easy.
You can order at any time throughout the year, and all wines, except for the Member Reward Wines), count towards your minimum annual commitment – just 12 bottles.
We contact members in May and October for a six-bottle order. If you have already purchased your commitment by the time May or October comes around, you are not obligated to order again in these months. But hey, you are more than welcome to!

*Our Members Reward cleanskin wines are a great value pre-set member price and are exempt from complimentary shipping unless certain conditions are met. These conditions include, adding it to a six (or more) bottle order and/or adding a second Members Reward six pack to your order. Freight will be added if you order just 1 x six pack of this pack.
- You will receive and an email and/or SMS announcing that it is time to make your wine selection.
- You get to choose – we never send wine without you giving us the ok to do so. If you prefer to receive a set pack each time, please email club1733@thomasallenwines.com.au and we can organise this for you (subject to the wine being available);
- A minimum of six bottles is required, but if you need to stock up please feel free to add to your order – in multiples of six please to minimise breakages;
- Please remember the Members Reward wines DO NOT contribute to your minimum commitment, but are fantastic add ons!
- Freight is added to your order, when the cart does not add up to a multiple of six, so please be mindful of this when placing your order.
- We receive many orders at this time, and so it may take up to 2 weeks for your wine to be delivered. If you wish to delay your order, please note this in the delivery instructions on your order. You click on EDIT SHIPPING to add delivery instructions.
- Your payment may appear on your credit card statement as Vinkem Trading;
- You will receive a confirmation email with your order. Please check your junk/spam folder if this does not arrive in your inbox;
- You will receive tracking notifications via Australia Post, but if these do not arrive, your tracking number is available on your order, once you log into your account.
- If you order multiple cases, these may get separated when they are sorted with Australia Post and may not arrive together. Please wait a day or two and if you still haven’t seen your completed order, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
We understand life sometimes throws us curveballs or you might be sailing the seas, and so we are flexible when circumstances require for you to miss a pack. We are mindful that 12 bottles throughout the year is a low purchasing commitment as far as wine clubs go, so our preference is to delay the delivery until it is a better time if possible. You need to have been a Club 1733 member for three years before we can put your membership ON HOLD for a period of up to 12 months.
If you are travelling, we can always arrange to store your wines at Thomas Allen until you return, or send it to a friend or family member (if you trust them not to drink the wines before you return 😊)
We have a long waiting list of customers eager to be welcomed into Club 1733 and hence why we can only place a membership on hold for up to 12 months.

As our wine club – Club 1733 – has reached capacity, you will need to join our Transit Lounge awaiting a position to become available.
Firstly, welcome.
Once a wine club position becomes available, you will receive an email and an SMS from us with the exciting news, with instructions on how to set-up your online account, and advising when your next purchase is required.
At present, on average it is about an 8-10 week wait for a membership position to become available. If you haven’t heard from us after 12 weeks, please reach out, just in case your welcome email has gone astray.

We use Australia Post to ship our wine around Australia.
Wine Club Members do not pay for freight when purchases are made in quantities of 6 bottles.
The Member Reward wines, when purchased as 1 x six pack only is charged freight. However, add a second six pack, or include it with six other bottles from the range, and freight charges are waived.
You should receive SMS and/or email notification from Australia Post when your freight is dispatched from the winery, and this will include your tracking number. You can also find this tracking number within the order information, once you log into your member account.
If you order multiple cartons sometimes these get separated during transit, and the missing carton/s generally show up the next day. Please reach out if your missing cartons have not arrived after 2-3 days of receiving your first delivery. Your tracking number will also identify separate ‘article’ deliveries if you are receiving multiple cartons, so you can track the missing cartons.
- For wine club members, please login to your account and you can view your Gift Card/s under the Account Details Tab if it has been linked to your account (refer link below for visual). For non-members, go to Step 2.
- Complete your order and click on PROCEED TO CART. Then click on the EDIT button within the Payment area. If your gift card is assigned to your membership account, your gift card will be listed here, and you click on it to redeem the amount OR
- If you have been sent a Gift Voucher and have a 16-digit code, you will see an ADD A GIFT CARD button for you to enter your code.
