This unique variety hails from Piedmont in Northern Italy, a region renowned for crafting elegant white wines with striking aromas of almonds and peaches. We affectionately call our Arneis the “Little Rascal”—a nod to its name in the local Piedmontese dialect and its somewhat tricky nature in the vineyard. In Australia, this exquisite variety is only grown in limited volumes, and we have been lucky to secure ours from a small, dedicated grower in the foothills of Mudgee. The wine offers fragrant notes of ripe apples and pears, while the medium-bodied palate reveals layers of stone fruit and a subtle, nutty finish that lingers beautifully.
