Named after the late, great Alasdair Sutherland. A past colleague, a Hunter Valley legend and most importantly a great mate.
This 2023 vintage is crimson in colour, with purple hues, while the aromas are of cherries, chocolate and pepper, with a hint of cinnamon spice from the French oak. The palate is structured and packed with flavours of plums and raspberries, balanced by fine soft tannins and oak spice. This wine ticks all the boxes for structure, style and balance.
