This wine came about as a result of an unpredictable and challenging 2022 vintage, and we were not able to produce our beloved Old School Shiraz Cabernet.
Thankfully we had a Wildcard up our sleeve and were able to source some Shiraz and Cabernet from the Clare Valley, so could continue to make a wine in line with our Old School Hunter blend. This Shiraz Cabernet exudes aromas of plums, blackberries and wood spice, with a rich luscious palate of dark fruits and cocoa.
